Dance-Forms Productions is a professional organization providing opportunities for emerging and distinguished choreographers to present and perform their work at prestigious international venues. Designed especially for the self-producing artists, "The International Choreographers' Showcase," offers a complete theater experience.

Here's a history in brief:

Street performers invite the public to the Avignon Off Office

Avignon, France, July 23 through August 2, 1994: "The 1st International Choreographers' Showcase" had twelve performances, covering the same number of days, and was presented at Theatre de la Danse Golovine for Festival Off d'Avignon 94. It featured the work of choreographers and dancers: Angela Addison (Kelly Roth & Dancers), Dianne Aldrich (Independent Choreographer), Anahi Galante (Independent Choreographer), Peter Kalivas (Malashok Dance Company), Joy Kellman (Joy Kellman & Dancers), Julio Enrique Rivera (Alvin Ailey Dance Company), Kelly Roth (Independent Choreographer), Mariko Tanabe (Erick Hawkins Dance Company), Zeynep Tanbay (Martha Graham and Elisa Monte Dance Companies), Susana B. Centro Cultural "Miguel Angel Asturias"

Guatemala City. June 1,1995: "The 2nd "International Choreographers' Showcase" was a special feature of the "International Dance Encounters of Guatemala" with performances at Centro Cultural "Miguel Angel Asturias." The showcase featured the work of choreographers: Alison Chase/Felicia Norton (Philobolus Dance Theatre), Maria Cheng ( Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company), Mattheu Child (Independent Choreographer), Gus Solomons, Jr. (Merce Cunningham Dance Company), Jamar Welch (Independent Choreographer), Kathy Wildberger (Independent Choreographer), Susana B. Williams (Dance-Forms Productions).

Avignon, France. July 24 through July 30, 1995: "The 3rd International Choreographers' Showcase" was presented at Theatre de la Danse Golovine, Festival Off d'Avignon 95. It featured the work of choreographers: Andrea Beckman (Yacov Sharir Dance Company), Alison Chase/Felicia Norton (Philobolus Dance Theatre), Susan Douglass (Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth), Carol Linda Knopf (Independent Choreographer), Debra Noble (Limón Institute NYC), Mercy Sidbury (Independent Choreographer).

In past years the showcase attained the distinction of ranking high among the best dance presentations offered abroad. Recognized by the Avignon Press as the most remarkable dance performance of Festival Off d'Avignon 1995, the showcase is a great international attraction.

Paris, France. December 1 and 3, 1995. "The 4th International Choreographers' Showcase" was presented at Centre de Danse du Marais.
